What sets the SPI joist system apart from all other Prestressed / Post Tensioned Systems currently in use is the flexibility to vary center to center spacing of joists to accommodate almost any loading condition. Joists can also be set side by side as “double joists” providing incredible flexibility when trying to carry heavy concentrated loads. Our soffit beams are Prestressed beam bottoms that furnish positive reinforcing and stirrups. Our soffits emulate cast-in-place continuous span beams with the added advantage of prestress reinforcing in the tensile zone. |
